What it is:

A series of hand drawn TTRPG Battle Maps and Tokens optimised for Roll20, using the prompts from Inktober 2020.

 

What you are getting:

In total there are 29 Maps (jpeg) and 229 Tokens (png). Each includes their size (in tiles) on the end of their name, for easy construction in Roll20.

How to use them:

 1.     Download the .zip folder

2.     Unzip the folder

3.     Upload the files you want to your asset library in Roll20 - here are some detailed instructions if you need them

4.     Drag them onto your page and size them appropriately using the tiles in Roll20 and the sizes in tiles in the name of each asset (e.g. WineBottle_1x1 = 1 tile by 1 tile / Map_23x34 is 23 tiles by 34 tiles)

 

FAQs

One of the items has the wrong dimensions at the end of its name – what can I do?

Leave a comment below with the asset name and the size it should be so I can find and change it easily. On your own device, either rename the file in the Roll20 Asset Library or rename it on your computer storage and reupload the image.

 

Can I use these on other online TTRPG sites other than Roll20?

Yes, you can. They are optimised for Roll20 because that’s what I use and I’m not familiar with other sites, but provided they work in a similar way they can be used on others.

 

Can I print these maps and tokens?

Of course you can, but they are 72dpi (dots per inch) as opposed to 300dpi so they will not be as crisp when printed.

 

Can I share these maps and tokens?

Of course you can!

 

Do I need to credit you?

Credit is always appreciated, but not necessary. I’m most active with my maps on Instagram (@CariWatermelon) if you feel like tagging me with a screenshot of your game with one of my maps or tokens, I'd love to see!

 

Do you do commissions?

No – I draw maps and tokens for my own personal use and upload them here for others to use. I may take suggestions over on my Instagram if it’s something I like the sound of or it fits into a theme I’m doing – but I don’t do commissions!
